Tricia left us suddenly when the car she was driving skidded into a tree on Jericho Turnpike in Smithtown on October 19th. Those who knew how much she loved animals believe she lost control of the car when she tried to avoid a raccoon that was found near the scene of the accident.
Tricia was a senior at Hauppauge High School. She had many interests and loved many things. She excelled at horseback riding, she enjoyed singing and dancing, playing volleyball, and aspired to become a writer.
The way she looked, she intrigued me; the way she thought, she inspired me. She was the most original person I have ever met and I will never forget her.
I loved her more than life itself and will forever miss her greatly. I know that she's now an angel forever watching over me.
Tricia had many friends and was known as “the girl who would always try to make you smile.” Hundreds of her friends and classmates attended the funeral services held at Moloney Funeral Home in Hauppauge, sharing cherished memories of their special friend.
Tricia will be forever missed by her parents, Edward and Patricia; two brothers, Matthew and Christopher; and her sister, Kristin.
