The hardest question to answer, I think, is, “What do you want to spend the rest of your life doing or what do you want to become?” For me, that question still boggles my mind. I asked myself, “What do I enjoy doing?” and “Where do you think most of your potential is?” Well I pondered it for so long when it was pretty much right in front of my face, since the first day I learned to write. I want to become a writer.
I love to write and it is a career where I can use my mind creatively, expressively, and freely. I think I definitely have the potential to become a writer. What influences me is simply the fact that I love to write and my mind loves to wander. I am the type of person who loves to express my feelings by writing and I constantly do that. I honestly thought for a while about being a psychiatrist because a lot of my writing and thinking are analysis of this world and my life. I want my thoughts to get out there to help people and let them see things through my eyes. Only certain people go to psychiatrists, though, and my writing would be open to the world by books or however I decide to express it. I would have the chance to inspire many people by being creative with my feelings, thoughts, and opinions.
I have been doing my own kind of writing since I got my first diary. I was about 8 or 9 years old and I still expressively write on my own today. It is amazing to go back and read the past ten years of your life. It shocks and confuses me when I read about my thoughts and perspective towards life. I look at my life now in obviously a more mature and less confusing way. What influences me mostly is the fact that my words can inspire people and that is what makes me feel good.
I would love to go into more detail and talk about one specific person in my life, but the point is that my whole person and self-being has changed so much that I appreciate things a lot more and understand things that I never thought could be understood. I feel like a lot of people need guidance out there and if they were to read my life they would be able to relate and understand things the way I do and hopefully become much better and “happier” people.
I know it would take a lot of hard work, constantly thinking and making new ideas but that is what I do on a daily basis. My mind never stops going and I love it now. I would be able to make my own hours, but I would always be thinking of ideas regardless. I am always writing and trying to use my mind creatively and inspiringly. In the long run it would definitely be worth it to me.
My goal is to really inspire as many people as possible because I feel good about myself by helping others, which I think most people do.
So there you have it. I have answered the hardest question I have ever been asked, that everyone in this world must confront someday in his or her life. I definitely feel that this is the career for me and I would definitely enjoy it for the rest of my life.
